Wellness & Recreation

Recreation Services (RS) has recently implemented a new software which will streamline access and registration for programs/services online. This new software, called Fusion, will serve as the single place to sign-up for memberships, guest passes, intramural sports, certifications, outdoor recreation adventure trips, and reserve your spot for group fitness classes.

Overview

The Current RS Website:

Think of the RS website as your hub for information regarding what you love about the WRC. Information about hours, program offerings, and facility usage will remain on the main RS website.

How does this affect you?

Students

All students currently enrolled in classes at the University of Northern are issued a membership to Recreation Services automatically through the mandatory recreation fee included with tuition. You may access RS facilities and programs by simply using your student ID to check-in during that academic semester.

Alumni, Employees, and Students

To make a purchase of any RS items (e.g. memberships, guest passes, adventure trips, certification classes, fit class pass), go to Fusion on your phone or computer, sign in using your CatID, add items to your shopping cart, and checkout with a credit card.

Alumni: Recent graduates, within the last 10 years (2008-2018), you will need your campus username and password (CatID username and password) to login. If you don't remember your username and password please follow this link to reset it: https://cgi.access.uni.edu/cgi-bin/password/SSPR.cgi. If you need additional assistance resetting your password, please contact the IT Service Desk at (319) 273-5555. Once you have reset your password, you will sign in at the "CATID Login" section at the top of the online login page.

Alumni: Graduating prior to 2008 you will need to follow the instructions for community members and retirees (those without a CatID).

Planning to purchase a Fit Class Pass and take group fitness classes?

If you're planning to purchase a Fit Class Pass and take group fitness classes, Fusion now allows you reserve your spot in a class or classes you're interested in.

Fit Class Pass Payment Options:

You are strongly encouraged to reserve your spot in a class if you're planning to attend at least one day in advance. This ensures your spot is there once you arrive for the class each time — otherwise the class could fill up.

Alumni, Community Members, Employees, and Retirees (with a CatID)

  • Must sign the facility access waiver
  • Add family members to your Fusion account
