Aquatics
Life is better in the pool.
Recreation Services offers a variety of aquatics programs at the Wellness & Recreation Center. These include swim lessons, open swim, lap swim and American Red Cross certification courses. Our lap pool is home to the UNI Swimming and Diving team; and both pools host a variety of events.
Lap Pool
This 8-lane, 25-yard competitive pool is the home to UNI's Swimming and Diving team with two 1-meter and two 3-meter diving boards and a 300 seat spectator area for swim meets. It is open for recreation lap swim and swim lessons.
Leisure Pool
Our 2,500sf leisure pool features a zero-depth entry, bubble couch and waterslide, plus space for water volleyball and basketball. It is open for member use and swim lessons. This is a great area to host a birthday party!
