Frequently Asked Questions

Who can join?

Intramurals: Any full-time, fee paying student, faculty/staff, or alumni with an active annual WRC membership is eligible to play.

Sport Clubs: Membership is open to all UNI students. UNI faculty/staff, as well as Hawkeye Community College and Allen College students living on campus can participate in some sport clubs with limited eligibility requirements (please contact the Sport Club coordinator for further details).

What is the cost to join?

How are competitive sports funded?

Intramurals: Through a combination of intramural play pass purchases and student recreation fees.

Sport Clubs: Student recreation fees, club dues or membership fees, fundraising, sponsorships and donations.
