Weight Classes: 126, 134, 140, 146, 152, 158, 164, 170, 177, 190, 210 Heavyweight, Super Heavyweight (230+)

Work Out Times: West Gym Wrestling Room — February 6-9, 13-16, 20-21 at 7:00 - 9:00 pm — (These dates/times may change due to availability)

Equipment: Wrestling shoes required, head gear strongly recommended and appropriate workout clothing required


Intramural Hot Shot, Free Throw & 3 Point Contest

Women & Men — Singles - Doubles - Co-Rec
Monday, March 5th OR Tuesday, March 6th
WRC South Courts — 7:00pm — Registration and Start

Intramural Championship T-shirts will be awarded to the men and women champions in each activity plus doubles champions in Men’s, Women’s, and Co-Rec divisions

Format: An individual shoots once for each activity with score counting towards singles and combined with a designated partner(s) score for doubles and/or co-rec scoring. Partner is designated at registration. ALL PARTICIPANTS REGISTERING MUST SIGN UP WITH A PARTNER. Also, all participants must use a ball provided by the Intramural Program

Registration: Preferred online at www.IMleagues.com; walk-ins accepted from 7:00 until 9:30 pm, each night, Monday, March 5th, and Tuesday, March 6th. Four baskets will be used and contestants may shoot once they are registered and there is an available court

Location: Wellness/Recreation Center South Courts

Intramural ID Policy: A valid UNI ID card must be presented to intramural supervisor or staff prior to contest

Rules and Scoring: Hot Shot: (Timed event)
There will be 5 (1-5) different locations on the floor. You must shoot in numerical order. You can’t move to the next spot until you’ve made the shot at the previous spot. Clock starts when you begin at #1 and is stopped when your shot at #5 is made. Rebound your own ball and partner is needed only if competing in doubles or co-rec. Times are combined for doubles.
Free Throw: (No time limit)
Each partner will have 25 shots at the free throw line for a total number of made baskets out of 25. Feet must be behind and cannot come into contact with the free throw line. Shots are combined for doubles.
3 Point Contest: (No time limit)
Each partner will have 5 shots from 5 different locations on the 3 point line for a total of 25. Feet must be behind and cannot come into contact with the 3-point line. Shots are combined for doubles.

Men’s and women’s 3 point singles champions will have the opportunity to participate in the State Tournament against Iowa, Drake and Iowa State in 2019.
