  • Clients and Trainers are both required to wear masks in the building and during their session
  • Longer warm-up and cooldown periods can/will be implemented, as well as a lower intensity workout to ensure the safety of our clients during their workout.
  • Sanitize + wipe down each piece of equipment before AND after each use.
  • Clients and trainers will maintain a 6 feet of social distance during sessions. 
  • The Health Beat (the fitness area in Maucker Union) has been closed to the public, but clients have exclusive access to this location. The Health Beat offers a more private, comfortable, and convenient setting for clients sessions.

UNI Personal Training Class

The class will begin on Monday, February 15th and will end on Friday, April 23rd.

The class will meet in WRC 155 every Monday and Wednesday from 3:00 to 4:00 pm, and every Friday from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. An informational meeting for the class will be held on Friday, February 12th at 3:00pm in WRC 155.

Certified Personal Trainers

All Personal Trainers have passed a 10-week intensive program based through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) national certification program. Training includes theory and practical evaluations with an 80% pass requirement. Many student personal trainers are currently majoring in the field of movement and exercise science.
