Community Services

UNI's Wellness and Recreation Center exists to support the academic programs of the School of kinesiology, Allied Health and Human Services and to meet the recreational needs of students who pay a mandatory recreation fee. The facility has a very high rate of use and is unable to meet all of the current on-campus demand, making it impractical to expand access to the general public. However, Wellness and Recreation Services is able to offer certain opportunities for community members in the Cedar Valley to use the WRC through specific programs:

WRC Guest Pass Options

Current UNI students, or faculty/staff who have paid the user fee, may bring community members to the WRC as guests (up to four guests per host). Cost of a day pass is $8.00, which the student, faculty or staff member may purchase at the WRC Welcome Desk via ubill charge or payroll deduction.

If there is an accommodation you need in order to participate in a RS program or activity, please contact WRC 101 at (319) 273-6275.
