Recreation Services has a history rooted in long standing traditional recreation programs and health services. As the wellness philosophy was born and has evolved, so has the breadth and depth of these services. We strive to build upon our strong history as we continue to adapt to meet the needs and interests of the ever changing campus community.

The RS staff welcome your calls & emails regarding our programs and services. You can also reach us via

Do you need directions to find us?

Our mission is to enhance the personal, professional and academic lives of students, faculty and staff through structured and self-directed activities, educational programs and services, skill- and leadership-building activities, and campus-wide initiatives.

We strive to foster healthy lifestyle choices and wellness in the lives of those in our campus community through collaboration within Health and Recreation Services, within the Division of Student Affairs, and with many other campus partners.

Assessment and Strategic Planning help guide our decisions regarding programs and services. The RS Annual Report provides a "snapshot" of campus participation in our programs throughout the year.

If there is an accommodation you need in order to participate in a RS program or activity, please contact WRC 101 at (319) 273-6275.
